DR Congolese Point guard Emmanuel Mudiay (196-PG-1996) had a great game in the last week for Piratas de Quebradillas, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 14.
The 27-year old player had a double-double of 32 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Arecibo (#1, 10-3) 104-95. Piratas maintains the 3rd position in their group in the Puerto Rican BSN. Quebradillas is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-9 record. In the team's last game Mudiay had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Piratas, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Emmanuel Mudiay has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 22.1ppg) and averages impressive 54.2% FGP and 41.7% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last week's games was young American QJ Peterson (183-PG-1994) of Vaqueros de Bayamon. Peterson had a very good evening with 40 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he led Vaqueros to another comfortable win outscoring the higher-ranked Guaynabo (#2, 8-4) 104-83. This victory allowed Bayamon to move up to 5th position in Group B. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-8 record. Peterson is one of the most experienced players at Bayamon and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.4ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 4.8rpg and 4.0apg.

Third on the list of top players last week was Nigerian center Chinanu Onuaku (207-C-1996) of Super Santeros de Aguada (#5). Onuaku scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). Despite Onuaku's great performance the Aguada lost 74-80 to the higher-ranked Mayaguez (#2, 9-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Aguada not to end season at such low position in Group A, however are less than slim as they have already lost 11 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Onuaku could try to bring Aguada's a little bit higher in the standings. Onuaku has individually a great season in Puerto Rico. After 15 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.9ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 10.4rpg (#1 in league).

Other top performing players last week:
4. George Conditt IV (208-C-2000) of Carolina - 17 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Tai Odiase (206-C-1995) of Quebradillas - 24 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
